Meticulousness, femininity and elegance... Check out the new Bottega Veneta spring 2013 collection and get ready for a high dose of chicness and ladylike flare!

Have you girls seen the latest Bottega Veneta spring 2013 collection? Boy oh boy, there are some seriously ladylike and oh-so-elegant pieces that will definitely draw your attention! Well, not to mention those achingly gorgeous floral prints, studs and fringes! So, what's not to like about this line oozing maximum femininity?
"It’s easy for a woman to dress in a way that sends a simple message: serious or sexy or bohemian or whatever. For spring we wanted to make clothes that blur the lines, that offer a more complex idea," creative director Tomas Maier said.

Beautifully crafted pieces and exquisite details were created "for women who'd rather not be summed up in a word or two." Everything screams meticulousness and elegance. Oh, and these retro-inspired goods are ready to wear as well!
"We make these products because we sell them. I don't make a dress because I hope it's going to be on the cover of a magazine. That's not my goal," the designer said in an interview with Harper's BAZAAR.

Imagine chic floral tea dresses and pencil skirts, three dimensional appliqués, exaggerated shoulder pads, crystal beading, embroideries and macramé, black patent snake, silk, butterflies, and a delicious color palette that included caramel, vanilla, powder pink, pale green, golden brown and dusty blue. These are the main elements describing Bottega Veneta's spring 2013 collection.

All Tomas Maier's designs are the result of four cornerstones that represent the base of his work: highest-quality materials, extraordinary craftsmanship, contemporary functionality, and timeless design.
"It's just like the four corners of the boxing ring," Maier explained in the same interview with Harper's BAZAAR. "I do whatever I want in there, but there needs to be a reason why everything works together. It's kind of worked out for me over the last 10 years because we can pick up a clasp, a perfume bottle, a bag, a dress, and it all makes sense together," the famous designer added.
