Decoding Celeb styles and trying it on.....Miley Cyrus

So, the other day I thought...enuf of goofing around with my blog!I should really dedicate some time to it.You guys are being so sweet commenting and following me and I just don't have the damn time...but, now I definitely will be posting more productive posts and write some requested reviews.

I came up with the idea of decoding my fav celebs style and trying it on myself if possible (by which I mean WEARABLE...lol).In fact, if you like a particular celeb's style and wanna improvise that style in your personal style and personality, leave a comment, I'll try my best to respond and decode each one for you.

So, for now, I decided to decode Miley Cyrus's casual style coz I have been watching Hannah Montana (season 3) and I love her clothes and the way she incorporates the colors!

Miley's casual style generally consists layering. She layers off-shoulders with tank tops, tank tops with tube tops, capes with tank tops, capes with rompers, etc etc and etc.....So, basically if you like Miley's style, you gotta have a few things in your wardrobe:

1.Tank tops in bright colors

2.Tube tops

3.Capes

4.Shorts (I don't wear shorts as of now, so I will not include it in my style)

Here, she's is wearing tube top, tank top & a cape....still it doesn't look sloppy, thanks to the bright and beautiful colors and also to a very balancing choice of colors.

She generally wears long tops and puts a belt across her waist, mostly in earthy colors like brown, black n all.And as for footwear, gladiators and trendy flats are your best bet.

MY VERSION:

I tried it on myself and pretty much liked the results!

I chose a long tank top and a tube top to be worn underneath, along with skinny jeans as I don't wear shorts much.

For accessories, I wore chunky earrings and a long chain necklace and a simple bracelet.In the hannah Montana series & even in the pictures above, you can see that she wears a necklace almost all the time.This necklace was somewhere at the back of my closet coz I don't wear necklaces a lot, but I like how it gives me a *bling*...may be I can wear them on weekends or something.

So, that was my attempt no.1 to decode a celeb's style.....I hope I get better with time....(I really do!).
